Inauguration of The First Floor of M-Building

The Martin de Tours Building (M-Building) was built in 1986 consisting of six storeys. In the previous period,  the offices and the School in this building were as follows:

1st floor:Office of Registration

1½ floor:Office of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science

2nd floor:Student Affairs Department and Office of Dean of School of Nursing Science

3rd floor:Chemistry Laboratory

4th floor:Class rooms for English courses

5th floor:Office of nursing instructors and Nursing Laboratory

The Martin de Tours Building (M-Building) was built in 1986 consisting of six storeys. In the previous period,  the offices and the School in this building were as follows: After the movement of the Student Affairs Department, no chemistry laboratory in the nursing curriculum,  and no English class at M-Building, the third floor of this building was first renovated to be the office of nursing instructors. In the year 2018, the simulation laboratories for Adult Nursing, Maternal and Child Nursing were set up on the fourth floor of this building.

Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President-Rector Magnificus of Assumption University of Thailand realized that the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science should have its own place to show the location of the School to the public. He kindly gave opportunities for  the faculty members, staff, and students to design the first floor of this building. Therefore, the first floor of the Martin de Tours Building was renovated under the support of the University and its inauguration ceremony was held  on December 2, 2022 at 13:00 hours.  Rev. Bro. Dr. Achin Tengtrakul, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Rev. Bro. Dr. Prawat Sutthinont, Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs; A. Sompol Na-Songkhla, Vice President for Legal and Privilege; Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, Associate Dean, Graduate School of Business; Mrs. Benjaporn Anunwanitcha, Director of Library; and Mr. Vrong Chinvanthananond were honorable guests attending this ceremony. Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean; Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Associate Dean; faculty members, staff, and nursing students also attended this ceremony. The master of this ceremony was Ms. Latishalynn Liu, the first – year nursing student. She has been chosen to be the Second Runner Up Au Ambassador.
