On\u00a0Friday, 29 August 2025<\/strong>, the Faculty of Nursing, Assumption University, successfully held a\u00a0Blood Donation Day<\/strong>\u00a0at the Suvarnabhumi Campus. This special event was organized to commemorate the\u00a040th Anniversary of the Faculty of Nursing<\/strong>, in remembrance of the Princess Mother, and in honor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.<\/p>

The event was honored by the presence of\u00a0Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, President of Assumption University<\/strong>, who graciously presided over the opening ceremony. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of cultivating social responsibility among AU students and highlighted how blood donation is a simple yet profound way of saving lives and serving the wider community.<\/p>

Throughout the day, students, faculty members, staff, and volunteers came together to contribute to this noble cause. The atmosphere was filled with compassion, unity, and a strong spirit of service. The event not only raised awareness of the importance of regular blood donation but also strengthened the value of giving back to society \u2014 a core mission of the nursing profession.<\/p>

The success of the program was made possible through the support of the\u00a0Student Development Committee<\/strong>, with special thanks to\u00a0Ms.<\/strong> Jitlada Thawornkul<\/strong>, whose guidance encouraged students to take active roles in planning and executing the activity. Her contribution reflects the collaborative spirit of AU in empowering students to learn through service.<\/p>

The Faculty of Nursing extends sincere appreciation to all donors, organizers, and participants.
