AU Nursing Graduate Wins National Outstanding Nursing Student Award 2024
Ms. Ammara Jaemsai, a proud graduate of the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS), Assumption University of Thailand (AU) , has been honored with the Outstanding Nursing Student Award for the academic year 2024 by The Nurses’ Association of Thailand (NAT).
The award ceremony, held on December 18, 2024, at the NAT Grand Meeting Room in Soi Rang Nam, Bangkok, was graced by the presence of Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Dean of BLNS, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriporn Poonruksa, and Dr. Patra Phuekphan, who celebrated this prestigious recognition alongside Ms. Ammara.
The Outstanding Nursing Student Award is a coveted national honor presented annually to four exceptional nursing students across Thailand. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence, a commitment to compassionate and accountable nursing care, professionalism, and meaningful contributions to society.
Ms. Ammara Jaemsai’s outstanding contributions include her active role as a nursing student committee member, leadership in a Blood Donation Project, and chairing an academic seminar during her studies. Today, she continues her dedication to the nursing profession as a professional nurse at the Orthopedic Center of Vejthani Hospital, where she was awarded a full scholarship throughout her four-year nursing program.
