           The BS (Health, Wellness, and Technology) is designed to bridge modern science with traditional wisdom, equipping graduates with a holistic and      evidence-based approach to promoting health, wellness, and longevity. This program integrates Western medical advancements, Eastern healing traditions, and digital health innovations to develop professionals capable of addressing complex health challenges across the lifespan and transform healthy aging, disease prevention, and personalized wellness strategies.

           This program is built on the philosophy that longevity and quality of life can be optimized   through a multidisciplinary, patient-centered, and innovation-driven approach. Learners will explore the interplay between biological, psychological, social, environmental, and technological factors that influence health and aging.

            The program emphasizes evidence-based integrative health models, combining medical sciences, functional nutrition, mental resilience, regenerative medicine, and digital health technologies. The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI), wearable health monitoring, and smart home innovations ensures graduates are prepared for the evolving healthcare landscape.

            By fostering entrepreneurial thinking, research-driven innovation, and cross-cultural healthcare perspectives, this program prepares graduates to develop sustainable and transformative solutions that enhance individual and community well-being. Graduates will be equipped to drive changes, healthcare advancements, and wellness industry growth, contributing to a future where longevity is not just about extending lifespan but improving health span and overall life quality.

Learners who formerly studied in other institutions may have their courses and credits transferred to their current programs in accordance with the Commission on Higher Education’s Criteria of Degree Transfer, and Assumption University Regulations on Criteria and Guidelines for transferring credits and academic records. Cross-university registration can be done whereby AU allows learners of other programs recognized by the Commission on Higher Education to register for courses at AU. Prior learning credits may be accepted via previous work and life experiences related to the courses upon the consideration of the school.

Student Admission Requirements

  1. M.6 Certificate (grade 12) or its equivalent as issued by the Ministry of Education
  2. Thai and international students who seek to study health and wellness in a context that integrates both Eastern and Western perspectives.
  3. Learners interested in health innovation, including AI, digital health, biohacking, and startup development.
  4. Students aiming for careers in health management, wellness coaching, senior care, or digital health solutions.
  5. Students with the potential to study in English and who are interested in international programs.
  6. Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy.
  7. Applicants must demonstrate good behavior and good attitudes toward their studies, and strictly conform to the University’s rules and regulations.

Language of Instruction

  1. Primary language of instruction: English
  2. Supplementary languages: Thai and Chinese are incorporated in specific contexts such as fieldwork, community-based activities, and local case studies. This multilingual approach equips students with the ability to work effectively within ASEAN and Chinese healthcare settings.
  3. English for Health and Wellness courses (e.g., NGH 1002, NGH 2001) are included in the curriculum to enhance students’ professional language skills in alignment with their future career goals.

Admission to the Program

  1. The applicants must have completed the M.6 certificate (grade 12) or its equivalent as issued by the Ministry of Education. Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate good behavior and a good attitude toward their studies, and strictly conform to the university’s rules and regulations.
  2. The applicants must obtain the required scores of English proficiency or pass the University English Proficiency Examination of the English Proficiency Test. For transfer students, all credits transferred will be approved only with conditions determined by the University.
  3. The program utilized the online application form for all applicants; the system is accessed through the website at the School of Nursing Science. Once the applicant submits the online application, the application form is stored, and the applicant will receive a notification email indicating the required documents to be submitted and the payment of the admission fee.
  4. The program chair appoints the interview committee to interview and evaluate the applicant based on 5 criteria: knowledge and experience, personality and oral communication skill, technology skill, and basic general health science, and select the prospective applicants to be admitted to the program.
