The Faculty of Nursing Science, Assumption University, is honored to enter into an Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM) สถาบันการแพทย์ฉุกเฉินแห่งชาติ -สพฉ.1669, marking an important milestone in advancing emergency medical education, professional development, research, and innovation in Thailand.

On this occasion, the ceremony was graciously presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, President of Assumption University, whose distinguished presence reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening academic excellence and advancing collaboration in emergency medicine and disaster management.

The signing was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Onouma Thummapol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science, Assumption University, and Dr. Pichet Nongchang, Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine, who formally signed the MOU on behalf of their respective institutions.

The ceremony was also witnessed by Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Chair of the Academic Committee, Faculty of Nursing Science, Assumption University, and Khun Paisan Khonjumpa, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine.

Through this partnership, Assumption University and NIEM will combine academic expertise and professional standards to develop highly competent nursing and emergency medical personnel and contribute to the advancement of Thailand’s emergency medical system.
