BLNS’ Social Service: Blood Donation
The Student Development Committee of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS), Assumption University of Thailand in collaboration with the National Blood Centre Thai Red Cross Society organized the Blood Donation to celebrate the 91st Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 09:00 to 15:00 hours at the first floor of MSM Building, Suvarnabhumi campus. It aimed to celebrate the 91st Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, to organize a blood donation activity that volunteers can participate and contribute to extending support for recipients in need of blood transfusion, to raise awareness of people in the Assumption University’s community regarding the importance of blood donations, and to maintain sufficient blood supply for future potential medical emergencies.
On this occasion, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President of Assumption University of Thailand kindly delivered the speech and warmly welcomed all participants. Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean of BLNS; Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Associate Dean; A. Napaswan Namboonsri, Chairperson of Student Development Committee, Ms. Maythaporn Yuenyong, staff of BLNS; and AU nursing students joined this event.
