Assumption University Nursing Students Participate in the 7th Ethical Leadership Camp for Nursing Students in ASEAN

From 23 to 25 October 2026, the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science at Assumption University sent three nursing students to the 7th workshop, “Ethical Leadership Camp for Nursing Students among ASEAN Countries.” The camp took place at the Asia Airport Hotel, Pathum Thani. It was organized by the Thailand Center for Nursing Ethics (TCNE) under the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
.
The students who represented the Faculty were Ms. Nattapat Wungsantitum, Mr. Youfei Wu, and Mr. Thanatthun Photiprasit. Mr. Rachanon Sakol attended as their faculty advisor and observed the program.
.
Over three days, sessions were led by speakers including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aranya Chaowalit, Director of the Thailand Center for Nursing Ethics. The program also included group activities. On ethics storytelling, students identified and presented ethical role models from their own countries. In a mini-moral-project exercise, they analyzed behavioral problems at their colleges and universities and designed projects to address them using the PDCA cycle.
.
🧡 Mr. Thanatthun Photiprasit received an award for achieving the highest score on the camp’s knowledge assessment.🏆
.
Participating in the camp makes Faculty students eligible to develop and submit a Moral Project to the TNMC national contest. Winning projects will be presented at the 13th Annual Conference on Professional Nursing Ethics in 2027.
The Faculty thanks the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council for this opportunity and congratulates its students on their engagement and achievement.
