BLNS’ Nursing Student Participated in the ICN Congress 2023

Ms. Sireethorn Sangkanchanavanich, a junior nursing student of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was chosen as one of Thai nursing student representatives by the Nurses’ Association of Thailand to participate in the student assembly and International Council of Nurses (ICN) Congress arranging on 1-5 July 2023 at Montreal, Canada on topic of “Nurses together: A force for global health.”

The ICN Congress 2023 was hosted by Canadian Nurses’ Association to celebrate and commemorate the achievement and contribution to health care of professional nurses worldwide during and after facing with the COVID-19 pandemics. There were many activities to acknowledge the unity, contribution, and strength of the nursing profession during the pandemic and in its aftermath including plenary sessions, main regional and concurrent sessions, e-research poster displays, symposia and interactive policy cafés as well as student assembly. Participants could learn, share, and initiate network with each other to promote a better future for nursing and health care.
