The Wai Kru Ceremony 2023 was organized by the Student Development Committee of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) on September 7, 2023, at Auditorium Hall, Hua Mak Campus.
The primary objectives of this ceremony were to express students’ gratitude and formalize the student-teacher relationship while encouraging active participation in Thai culture and tradition. During the event, students had the opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude to their nursing instructors. The freshmen students showcased their talents and skills through the Thai dance performance.
The highlight of the ceremony was the certificate awarding to the nursing students who dedicated themselves in Blood Donation, Open House Activity, Mobile Clinic, Merit AU Run, First Aid Training, and Induction Camp.
The Wai Kru Ceremony 2023 was a resounding success, fostering a sense of appreciation and cultural understanding among the students and faculty. The programme consisted of Thai dance performance by nursing freshmen, academic address by Ms. Natchanan Chantepa, head of Wai Kru project; opening address by Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean of BLNS; expression of gratitude by the representative students; and certificate presentation to the awardees.
