International Nursing Seminar 2024
The senior students of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) at Assumption University of Thailand organized the International Nursing Seminar on the topic of Social Media and Nursing Image; Pros and Cons: Different Perspectives on March 21, 2024 at Salle d’ Expo, Hua Mak Campus and online zoom platform. This seminar was a part of the course NS 4322 Professional Socialization II under the supervision of Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Dr. Naree Achwarin, and Dr. Supa Pudkasam. It aimed to determine the impact of social media on the public perception of the nursing profession, develop strategies for nurses to maintain and enhance their professional image, and encourage nursing professionals to leverage social media for educational purposes, advocacy, and professional development. There were 120 internal participants and 150 external participants joining this seminar.
Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President- Rector Magnificus of Assumption University of Thailand kindly delivered the opening address of this seminar.
